In Memory of Maddie Hurd2015 California High School Graduate

Madeline "Maddie" Hurd, a 2015 California High School graduate was killed in a solo-vehicle crash amid snowy conditions on February 20th. She was 21 years old. In lieu of flowers, the Hurd family requests a donation to a cause important to Maddie, including the Friends of the Foundation fund for the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation, which supports STEAM education, literacy and professional development.

We are looking forward to recognizing exceptional people, talking about the important role of the Foundations at the schools, and sharing the new and exciting things that are happening at SRVEF. The event will be held at the beautiful Blackhawk Museums in Danville on Monday, April 29, 2019.  

SRVEF Announces 2018 Grant Awards118 Grants Totaling $67,000

The San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF) is pleased to announce that 118 grants totalling $67,000 have been awarded to San Ramon Valley Unified School District as part of the Foundation’s partnership with and SRVEF endowment. The grants include four grants for music and seven for science through the SRVEF endowment.

Almost 300 SRVUSD teachers submitted 440 grants this year, more than doubling the number submitted in 2017. By partnering with for the application process, external supporters and external matching funds helped to extend the SRVEF grant funding this year.
